After storming the box office at Christmas, Sonic will soon be back in theaters. Paramount studio, which produces the cinematic adventures of the little blue hedgehog, has announced that the fourth part of the franchise will be released in March 2027.
Soberly baptized Sonic 4this new adaptation of the famous video game was made official a few days after Sonic 3 became the highest-grossing film in the franchise, grossing $422 million at the worldwide box office.
In the space of three films, the license Sonic grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office. An accomplishment for a franchise whose first part was released in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
