A new project will highlight stringed musical instruments with concerts spread across the city.
It was during a press conference that the municipality unveiled its new Music project entitled Saint-Juéry s’accord in the presence of Mayor David Donna and his assistant for culture Dalila Ghodbane.
This unique event will highlight stringed instruments violins, guitars, double basses, mandolins for contemporary music. This festival will take place over 3 days from March 20 to 22 and will open the doors to new cultural perspectives with local, but also national, talents. This festival is in collaboration with music schools, associations and the business collective.
This project was born from a passionate artist Mark Ceans and his producer Philippe Mereau who have been collaborating together for 25 years on numerous shows. The municipality was naturally associated with this project, which is part of a desire to democratize access to music. Mark is delighted with this partnership because the entertainment market is 80% owned by the communities.
-Several concerts will take place at the Salle de la Gare, but also in various atypical places around the heart of the city, with the beekeeper Anne Remuaux and the building painting company Mickaël Tournier. We will find different musical genres on the program, from gipsy, blues, rock and gypsy jazz. Some artist names have been revealed such as Mark Cean, Vincent Labro, Estudiantina Albigeoise, Arte Gipsy, Rémy Loyant, Didier Burlier, duo Ova…
“This is a new challenge for the city,” said Mayor David Donna. We will do everything possible to achieve success. The business collective needs freshness, this was the opportunity to bring them together. Music has the power to bring people together and take them on a journey. » The detailed program of the various concerts will be announced at the end of March on La Dépêche. Tickets for the station concerts are already on sale on the Festik website.
