French director Bertrand Blier dies at 85 – rts.ch
French director Bertrand Blier, known for “Les Valseuses”, “Buffetfroid”, “Tenue de soir” and “Preparez vos mouchoirs”, which even won him the Oscar for best foreign film in 1979, died Monday evening at 85, his family announced.
The films of this fan of dark and crude humor, shot in particular with Gérard Depardieu, left their mark on the cinema of the 1970s and 1980s.
