A month after his attempt in the first “B” at Vincennes, when he was not yet at the top, he won very easily at Aby on December 14. Since then, he has worked regularly. Despite the cold, we were able to benefit from good tracks to refine our preparation. He is still running very well more than a month apart like during his qualification for America in mid-November. He is used to long journeys and will arrive in France only a day or two before the race. There are only good horses in the Prix d’Amérique and everything will have to go well on the big day. Being superstitious, I will be careful not to make any predictions but for the moment, everything is going well.”
