After its “Concerto for piano and orchestra” given in 2023 as part of the Floréal Musical in Épinal, the Ensemble Orchestral is happy to reunite with the brilliant pianist-composer Thomas Enhco for a new artistic collaboration. This time, he will present a second work of his own: a “double concerto”, performed alongside virtuoso percussionist Vassilena Serafimova. Known for being the first to make the marimba resonate during the Victoires de la Musique Classique, this exceptional artist promises a unique performance.
After two anthology albums as a duo, Thomas Enhco and Vassilena Serafimova come together on stage to offer a score of great expressive power, at the crossroads of jazz and classical. An evening that promises to be rich in emotions and musical intensity.
To match this artistic audacity, the program will include the irresistible music of Carmen, a timeless masterpiece by composer Georges Bizet. Died 150 years ago without having experienced the worldwide success of his opera, Bizet leaves a musical legacy of unparalleled passion and intensity.
