This Saturday, January 18, 2024, Expobat Park in Saint-Paul hosted a Solidarity Kabar for Mayotte to help the island’s inhabitants recover after the passage of Cyclone Chido. Organized by the Ankraké association, this event was encouraged by the Réunion region, the municipality of Saint-Paul, the Mayotte delegation in Réunion as well as by various partners. Under the leadership of President Huguette Bello, one million euros in aid was voted by the Réunion Region to support the populations of Mayotte hit by Cyclone Chido. This evening raised funds for reconstruction thanks to the cultural richness of our islands.
