Elle has only one desire left: to sing. In the summer of 2024, Marion Shine, from Pleumeur-Bodoudecided to make it his career.

A former student of Jacqueline Le Provost’s Music Box, she took a music option in high school. “I then left music aside before starting again with the group Shine. They were rehearsing right above my desk. I went there with the nerve. »

A conquered audience

It was in 2020. Then, the Pleumeuroise started singing alone in bars in Binic or with groups. She performed at the Pink October gala at the Lanrodec manor, at the Trébeurden Telethon, and she has just hosted on January 1st at the La Suite de Trestraou restaurant, in Perros-Guirec. His audience is won over each time.

It was her performance at the wedding fair that led the thirty-year-old to take the plunge towards professionalization.

Voice work as a common thread

After a degree in Applied Foreign Languages, Marion worked for ten years at Voxygen, at the Phoenix center in Pleumeur-Bodou, where she participated in the creation of synthetic voices.

She herself coaches actors. She follows the courses of the vocal coach Sandra Brandon (from Florent Pagny’s team in The Voice) for one year. With her, she works on her voice, her image, and social networks. “She really helped me get started. »

Like the divas

From Joséphine Baker and Édith Piaf to Françoise Hardy or France Gall, the one who describes herself as a “retro chic singer” has built herself a cabaret repertoire around the 30s, but she will draw on “timeless” songs from the 70s.

She also performs American jazz and retro from the 50s. Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth and Peggy Lee are her favorite divas. Ella Fitzgerald inspires him for 60s soul.

Tailor-made services

Her singing tour can last up to two hours. Marion adapts to any style of music, including pop funk. She recently filled in, at short notice, in the Trégor Blues Band. She hosts weddings, seminars, cocktails, galas, theme evenings.
