Roquecourbe. Clarinet Master Class at the Orphée Institute

The Orphée music institute recently had the honor of hosting a clarinet Master Class, an event long awaited by music enthusiasts and in particular the students of the orchestra classes of Barral and St Dominique colleges, invited to participate by their teacher Anne Laffont.

This enriching session was led by Florent Lussan, professor at the CRD du Tarn, recognized for his expertise and pedagogy. Participants had the opportunity to improve their playing of their instrument, explore advanced techniques and deepen their understanding of the clarinet. Florent Lussan was able to create a stimulating learning environment, where each student was able to benefit from personalized advice and constructive exchanges. The presence of luthier Octavent also added a unique dimension to this master class. The students were able to discover the importance of maintaining their instrument. This interaction with a professional in the sector allowed young musicians to know their clarinet better and to appreciate the nuances that make their practice so rich. This master class was a great opportunity for students to improve their skills and strengthen their passion for music. The day ended with the restitution of the pieces worked by the students then with a concert by the conservatory’s clarinet ensemble. The participants left enriched with new knowledge and motivated to continue their musical journey. Congratulations to everyone for their participation and their great state of mind.
