Meydene Production, the new label of the Meydene Theater, marks its entry into cultural production with an exceptional tribute to Abdel Halim Hafez, timeless icon of Arab romantic music.
With this initiative, Meydene affirms its desire to go beyond the walls of its emblematic theater in Marrakech and to extend its artistic footprint throughout the Kingdom, marking an innovative turning point in the Moroccan cultural landscape by engaging in creation and production of exceptional cultural events. To inaugurate this new chapter, two evenings in Rabat and Casablanca are planned for February 14 and 19, 2025.
“They will offer a moment of wonder and emotion for lovers of timeless melodies. “Halimiyate” offers a musical journey imbued with nostalgia and modernity, where the classics of Abdel Halim Hafez will be revisited by two extraordinary Moroccan voices: Ayoub Tijani, an artist with a captivating voice and recognized for his masterful interpretation of Arab classics, and Youssef Jrifii, talented singer with a captivating tone and passionate about Arab musical heritage,” indicate the organizers.
The two artists will be accompanied by an exceptional orchestra led by maestro Hicham Talmoudi, famous for his ability to combine creativity and respect for great works. Together, they will pay homage to the unforgettable compositions of Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Baligh Hamdi and Mohamed El Mougy, offering an unforgettable musical experience.
