Although he has been discreet since his retirement far from Hollywood, Bruce Willis did not hesitate to leave his home for a good cause and salute the police forces mobilized in the face of the fires in Los Angeles.

His last outing was on September 10. For three months, penalized by his degenerative disease and dementia, Bruce Willis had not been seen outside his Californian home. It was there, surrounded by his wife Emma Heming and their two daughters, Mabel (12 years old) and Evelyn (10 years old), that he completely withdrew from Hollywood after receiving his sad diagnosis.

But faced with the scale of the Los Angeles fire disaster, the 69-year-old actor was out on Thursday January 16. A black and white video shared by his wife shows him talking with law enforcement officers who have been mobilized for more than a week in the City of Angels. The actor shakes their hands, takes photos with them and chats for a few moments. A touching encounter published on Emma Heming Willis’ Instagram page.

The last time Bruce Willis was seen in public was last September. The actor was photographed in a car driven by his bodyguard in Los Angeles. Photos which were quickly relayed, as fans of the Hollywood star were so delighted to see him after so long.

From time to time, those close to him do not hesitate to give news to the press. Last December, it was his ex-partner Demi Moore – with whom he remained very close – who confided that the actor was in “stable condition”.
