Carnivals in Loiret in 2025

The Jargeau carnival:

Unmissable in the Loiret, the Jargeau carnival will take place on March 2 and 9, 2025. On the theme of pop culturethis event promises to delight young and old with a parade exceptional of a ten tanksaccompanied by confetti and lively music.
In addition to the festive atmosphere, don’t miss the funfair which will add fun and joy to this popular event! Between parades and attractions, it’s an ideal day for the whole family.

The Châteauneuf-sur-Loire carnival :

Discover the carnival of Châteauneuf-sur-Loire in 2025, an immersion in the fascinating universe myths and legends. Enjoy a memorable evening on March 8 with a dinner and dance show, crowning Miss Carnaval and her runners-up. On March 15, let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere of the Whites’ parade, followed on March 16 by the first round of the floats parade, hosted by local music. The event will close on March 23 with a second round of the float parade, for a festive and dynamic experience not to be missed!

Carnivals in Loir-et-Cher in 2025

The Blois carnival :

The carnival of Blois will be held on March 16, 2025, promising a festive and unmissable day. The theme chosen this year is “shellfish and crustaceans“, inviting you to immerse yourself in a joyful marine universe.

To prepare for this event, various activities will be offered:

• workshops every Thursday at the Pavillon Anne-de-Bretagne, from February 13 to March 4, 2025, offering exhibitions, a DIY space and a friendly café.
• l’atelier “Compare the sea” from March 10 to 16, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Pavillon Anne-de-Bretagne and at the Brisebarre farm, to create masks and accessories.
• the election of the king and queen of the carnival, upon registration, on Sunday March 9 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brisebarre farm.
• a bike ride on Monday March 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., upon registration, leaving from the Jardins du Coeur and arriving at the Pavillon Anne-de-Bretagne.
• a screening of a film on carnival on Tuesday March 11 at 9 p.m. at the Brisebarre farm.
• l’atelier “carnival seeds” for children on Wednesday March 12, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pavillon Anne-de-Bretagne, with mask creation, snack and carnival ball (registration required).

In closing, the “Carnival beef” will be held on Thursday March 13, 2025, from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., at the Pavillon Anne-de-Bretagne.

Carnivals in Indre-et-Loire in 2025

The Saint-Avertin carnival:

On the program of Saint-Avertin carnivalget ready to dive into the magical world of the Arabian Nights! From March 5 to 9, 2025, you will discover dozens of luminous tanks and sumptuous costumesall designed by the company Dwhich will bring this year’s enchanting theme to life. On Wednesday March 5, the Nouvel Atrium will host the screening of an animated film, offering a taste of this magical universe.
A lively stroll will take place on March 8 through the streets of downtown, promising a memorable experience for all participants.
To close this exceptional event, a show captivating event will take place on March 9, marking the end of this not-to-be-missed carnival!

The Montlouis carnival :

The Montlouis carnival promises an explosion of rock’n roll March 16, 2025! An unmissable event for party and music lovers, this event will pay tribute to the legend Elvis Presley.

From 3 p.m., Espace Ligéria will be the starting point for a musical stroll. The participants, dressed in their best disguises, will roam the streets of the city to the rhythm of a dynamic musical troupe.

The highlight of the day will be the burning of the carnival man, followed by a festive ball for young people in Ligeria around 4:30 p.m. A magical moment where music, costumes and good humor will come together to celebrate this holiday.

The Nantes carnival :

With such programming, almost 200,000 spectators are expected for this unique celebration!

Carnivals in Maine-et-Loire in 2025

The Cholet carnival :

The Chole carnivalt 2025 will take place from Saturday April 26 to Saturday May 3, promising a week of colorful festivities. This edition will feature unmissable events:

• musical entertainment on Saturday April 26 from 3:00 p.m. in the city center of Cholet
• daytime parade on Sunday April 27, 2025, from the station to Place du 8 Mai, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• guinguette carnival on Tuesday April 29 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• leisure center carnival Wednesday April 30 from 2:30 p.m.
• night carnival Saturday May 3 from 9:30 p.m.

Sports enthusiasts will also be able to attend the Carnival Grand Prixa cycling race scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st. A complete program to celebrate this popular carnival in a festive and friendly atmosphere, which should attract nearly 80,000 spectators !

The Candé carnival :

On Sunday April 20, 2025, the Candé carnival will come to life in the city center, from 2:30 p.m. On the program: flamboyant floats, a lively funfair and dancing groups who will set the streets alight. An afternoon of festivities for young and old, in a friendly and warm atmosphere!

The Maintenon carnival, scheduled for Sunday March 30, 2025, will have the theme “animal kingdom“.

Carnivals in Berry (Cher and Indre) in 2025

The White Carnival :

The white carnival promises to be a festive and family event on March 22, 2025. Children will be welcomed with colorful face painting and a delicious snack. From 10:00 a.m., the procession will come to life with the Bandastics et the majorettes of Tournon-Saint-Martinstrolling through the streets of the city center to create a musical and joyful atmosphere.
The festivities will continue with a musical snack, before the long-awaited moment: the traditional burning of the carnival man at 11:30 a.m., at La Bulle. This friendly event promises to bring together young and old in a warm and festive atmosphere, offering a memorable day for the whole family!

The Saint-Loup-Des-Chaumes carnival :

On February 22, 2025, the carnival of Saint-Loup-des-Chaumes promises a lively and friendly day. Participants are invited to wear superhero costumes or their favorite characters to participate in a festive procession, followed by traditional burning of Monsieur Carnival. The event will be enriched by the activities of a local sports association, which will offer wooden games and a raffle. A snack will be offered to everyone, creating a pleasant and warm moment for families.

The Carpe Saint-Satur carnival :

On March 16, 2025, the Carp Carnival will liven up the streets of Saint-Satur for a day full of joy and festivities. The parade, which will leave at 3 p.m. from Fontenay, will head towards the traditional funfair installed on the banks of the Loire. Participants are invited to dress up for the occasion and join the procession in an atmosphere festive et colorful !
