A relevant, but romanticized, vision of influence

The series questions the practices of certain influencers whose income comes from the marketing of products, or from their advertising and the customers they bring to the brand. It is true that spheres of influence have been little regulated until now, leading to scams or ethical problems of all kinds over the years. Belle Gibson’s story may not be specifically inspired by real events, but it echoes several similar stories involving content creators around the world.

has obviously not been spared its share of scandals and rapper Booba has long volunteered to carry the standard of those who fight against “influvoleurs” (a contraction of influencer and thief). He will not appear in a cameo – according to the latest information received – but we will think of him when the series is available on Netflix next February 6.
