Failure of the Basile Boli Academy: “I didn’t leave like a thief”, defends the ex-football star
Basile Boli does not lose his temper. The former French international footballer claims to have fallen from a height when reading the reactions which followed the formalization of the end of his international football school project, the Basile Boli Academy (BBA). Announced in Noyon (Oise) since 2018, initially supposed to open in September 2020, this academy was initially supposed to welcome 90 young people aged 15 to 18 from all over the world.
To support future stars, 80 jobs were also announced. A major project that has been stalled since 2023 and has just been definitively buried. In the latest issue of the monthly “So Foot”, Basile Boli explained that he had changed his plans, now targeting an installation in the south of France.
