At the forefront of this 42nd edition is the Cuban pianist Chucho Valdés, who will open the show in the company of his Royal Quartet and the double bassist and singer from Lausanne Louise Knobil in the opening act.
The manager was also delighted with the arrival of the legendary Senegalese musician Youssou N’Dour & Le Super Etoile de Dakar. Another ultra-popular artist, trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf will present his recent project “Trumpets of Michelangelo”, a musical adventure combining folklore and modernity.

Among the other artists performing on the main stage of the Chapiteau, John Scofield’s trio will navigate through a wide repertoire including original compositions, rock and blues classics as well as jazz standards.
