“I owe myself neutrality”
Decision taken. This January 8, Angélique Angarni-Filopon did not want to answer the question “Are you Charlie?” on the airwaves of Sud Radio and wanted to explain why in the face of the controversy. “Perhaps it was clumsy but in my role as Miss France, I owe myself neutrality on certain subjects to avoid any misunderstandings and arouse any controversies (…) Charlie Hebdo touches on profound issues and of course, the freedom of he expression is essential in France. I strongly condemn terrorist acts which are an attack on the fundamental values of our society, including freedom, tolerance and respect“, told Miss France 2025 on Instagram.
