This Saturday, January 18, at 9 p.m., Pavilion 108 will host a concert with Exocrine and Tempt Fate.
“Exocrine” | Technical Death Metal, Bordeaux. It was with the release of their first album, “Unreal Existence”, in 2015, that the Bordeaux group “Exocrine” forged their way into the world of technical Death Metal. The 2022 release of “The Hybrid Suns” is the fifth album of their career, a concept album that examines the journey between life and death, and which showcases a breathtaking level of musicality. Continuing to push the boundaries of extreme and precision, “Exocrine” is the bridge between the ferocity of “Archspire” and “Cryptopsy”, and the powerful progressive tendencies of “The Faceless”. They will present on the stage of Pavillon 108 their 6th album “Legend” released in 2024 via Season of Mist.
“Tempt Fate” Brutal Death Mélo, Toulouse. Formed in 2014 AND inspired by bands such as “The Black Dahlia Murder”, “Aborted”, “Benighted.” .. Their latest album “Holy Deformity” released in September 2023 on the Almost Famous label is distributed by Season of Mist.
“Holy Deformity” exposes the full palette that the group can offer by mixing technique and brutality in an aesthetic know-how, whose violence only lets the listener go once the last note is unleashed.
Tempt Fate received a residency at Pavillon 108 at the start of the year to develop their live sound before a series of concerts. A first in Fumélois for a musical aesthetic that can be found, like punk or reggae, all over the world.
