Manon Scandella-Lacaille, entrant of Make A Wish (1) :
“ Make a Wish (1) arrived at the stable a month and a half ago and I will therefore discover it in competition. I haven’t done much since then, just maintenance. She will be making a short comeback, but I can tell you that she is in good shape and will appear in good physical condition. Judged on her performances, I think she has the means to stand out in this field, especially since she ran well on this course last winter.”
Elias Mikhalides, coach of Goway (4):
“ Goway (4) does all his shopping. He is moving up in category, but he is in great shape, as evidenced by his easy victory in a claiming race at the Marseille-Vivaux racecourse. It’s a closed event, reserved only for 4-year-olds, so I think he has a say, especially since he already did well on this course last winter. If he repeats his last outings and benefits from a favorable run, he won’t be far from the mark!”
Jérôme Andreu, coach of Rose Of The City (7):
“ Rose of the City (7) was not ready the day she returned to Marseille-Vivaux, however I think she ran well, because she was very unhappy halfway through the straight. Without it, I think she would have finished a lot closer. We had ridden her unnaturally while waiting, which will not be the case this Monday, because she is a mare who is used to running at the front. She hasn’t been seen since this outing, but she generally runs well and fresh. She is in good shape and inherited a good number in the starting stalls, so all the lights are green on my side. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her finish in the top five.”
