“Textile wanderings” with a local artist serving culture. The Lévignac visual artist Corinne Berthéas is exhibiting, from January 11 to February 14, 2025, during the opening hours of the premises, some of her works at the Lévignac municipal media library, avenue de la Gare.

His eclectic inspiration, nourished in his workshop regularly open to the public, impasse des Roses, in the heart of the village, skillfully combines pictorial creation with the art of couture. His original paintings, made of threads, lace and trimmings, mix with painting, dyeing and even pastel. For all those who dream of diving into the world of textile art, Corinne Berthéas is organizing a “discovery” workshop open to beginners, on Wednesday January 29, 2025, at 2 p.m. “A great opportunity to express your creativity,” says Hélène Silbermann, manager of the media library. This original exhibition is part of a long tradition of invitations addressed to local creators, allowing them to highlight their artistic work that is too often unknown to Lévignacais and Lévignacais. “Don’t be surprised to find Jacquaire references on certain paintings by Corinne Berthéas; the artist, always looking for inspiration, is also a fan of walking on the paths of Compostela,” explains Hélène.
