It is under the leadership of the Amnesty Group Jura – Jura Bernois and the Amnesty Group of the Lycée cantonal that the documentary by Vaudoise Lisa Gerig will be screened next Friday at Cinémajoie, at 8 p.m. Winner last year of the Solothurn Prize, the City of Zurich Prize and best documentary of the Swiss Film Prize, The Hearing interferes behind the scenes of the asylum procedure in Switzerland.
Four employees of the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) replayed, for the purposes of the film, as many hearings of asylum seekers. Among these specialists who lead the interviews, the Bernese Demian Cornu, who will share a time of discussion with the public at the end of the film. Co-responsible for the Jura Amnesty Group – Bernese Jura and head of the Lycée Amnesty Group, teacher Marie-Josée Friche will also speak.
Now an independent author, co-president of the Deutschschweizer Pen Zentrum and teacher, the forty-year-old collaborated with the SEM from 2009 to 2018, notably serving as head of the Asylum area.
