A new bar-restaurant has just opened in place of the late “14 80”. The TWine is a hit in Gaillac. Its managers intend to export the formula to .

This is the address where we go from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., including lunch, evening and even afternoon services to satisfy a little craving: the TWine in Gaillac has everything success story. Its two managers, Christophe Cassan and David Stroïwas, therefore decided to export the magic formula to Albi.

The TWine once again in pole position

And not just anywhere, in the heart of the city, at the location of the late bar “Au 14 80”. The establishment opened its doors in December in this location which formerly housed the abbey stables. “We are creators of conviviality,” explains Christophe Cassan. “The TWine is open to all types of customers, from young people to older people, from all social classes.”

As for the cuisine, hot and cold tapas, around forty wine and beer references, a menu presenting 80 spirits and other cocktails. The lunch menu is simple and effective: starter, dish of the day and dessert for €17.90.

As in Gaillac, the TWine in Albi TWine offers concerts on Saturday evenings and a “pub song” on Thursdays hosted by Denis Caussé. With, here, a stage visible to the public on three levels! “400 pieces to choose from to be performed by anyone who wants to test their talent, with the support of musicians and soon on Fridays, we will organize DJ evenings but in the old-fashioned way with vinyls,” add the two partners.

Everything has been brought back to standard

The neighborhood… and the cathedral can sleep peacefully: everything has been soundproofed and brought up to standard. “We collected the keys in July and started the work straight away,” explains Christophe Cassan. “We faced some surprises but everything was redone.” The bar-restaurant therefore offers 3 levels of approximately 50 m2 each, completely new.

Some new features will complete the formula over the course of the year: a board game discovery area, mixology training (creation of cocktails), an improvisation theater and even an open stage for comedians. Christophe Cassan is far from unknown to the Albigensians: he started as a restaurateur in 1993 with the Cocktail bar, then with the first Shamrock and the Central Park.

This establishment in Albi marks a first step: Christophe Cassan and David Stroïwas then want to launch a TWine franchise on a departmental scale, with the objective of opening additional establishments.
