Winegrowers from Grignan-les-Adhémarone of the protected designations of origin (PDO) of the Rhône valleyput their suitcases at Grand Hôtel-Dieu, in Lyon, January 10 and 11, 2025. A culinary event will be held during these two days. His name: Truffle and Wine Instantsin reference to the specialties of the Drôme provençale which will be shared by the producers.
The program promises to be particularly dense this Saturday in order to best satisfy gourmets. From 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., the Saint-Henri courtyard will host a walk run by the winegrowers of the appellation, who will offer vintages and fresh truffles on their stalls, for tasting and for direct sale. A most atypical street food stand, concocted with truffles, will be added to the decor.
Grand Hôtel-Dieu: wine tastings
Three workshops dedicated to the discovery of the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation will be held in the afternoon in the cellar of the Grand Réfectoire. The first will introduce visitors to the specificities of this AOP of Drôme Provençale, the second will offer an tasting theme of the region’s red wines, and the last will offer a similar activity, this time with white wines.
Two feasts orchestrated by the Grand Refectory will be held over the two days in order to put theory into practice: a dinner from 7:30 p.m. on Friday and a lunch the next day, from noon.
