Every year, for almost two months, the Antilles-Guyana carnival brings together thousands of spectators. An emblematic event, the festivities – from street parades to large masked parades, including orchestra concerts and carnival evenings – are in full swing from Epiphany to Ash Wednesday. A blend of European roots and African and Native American traditions, carnival is marked by the history of each territory over the centuries and celebrates cultural diversity.

Authentic and unique of its kind, the largest popular and cultural event in the territory will, once again, thrill thousands of carnival-goers, spectators and tourists . For this 121e edition, the teams of Martinique La 1era are mobilizing to promote this great open-air festival on its four media. Through live TV, special broadcasts, magazines, documentaries and premiums, viewers will be able to experience “Kannaval an Mouvman”. On the radio, the teams will travel to several towns on the island, for inserts, filmed radio broadcasts, and live and full broadcasts, in order to allow listeners to fully experience the carnival festivities. A special musical program, as well as reviews will complete the schedule. Coverage on the website and social networks, with articles, photos and lives of the different parades will allow Internet users to experience a real immersion in the festive and colorful atmosphere of the carnival.
