The latest edition of the event hosted by the Noël en cirque association, in Valence-d’Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne), enchanted its audience thanks to spectacular numbers and mastered organization, already leaving room for reflections for 2025.
In Valence-d’Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne), the Route des Charretiers has regained the soothing calm that precedes the end-of-year festivities. The “Cirque en Deux-Rives” big top is no longer there, as are the structures that surrounded it. It’s time to take stock of the show for this 2024 edition. The formula presented by President Frédéric Dublans and his team of volunteers was undoubtedly popular.
The spectators who had taken their seats in the stands and boxes appreciated it. Featured on the program are high-level performances, notably those of the wild animals. What a good idea to have placed, at the very beginning of the evening, the Tigers number by Bruno Togni, recently awarded a Silver Clown. He quickly put the spectators in the circus atmosphere.
A real treat to admire the mastery of the tamer in the middle of his magnificent tigers and the complicity, not to say the love, which united them.
Sadly, numbers like this may disappear in the near future. And yet, that’s the circus.
At the top of their game
Another number also enjoyed unprecedented success: the excellent and impressive duo “Rodys” on skates. During their passage, impressive figures and enormous risks on this miniature track often held the audience’s breath. At the end, there was the reward: an explosion of applause for this charming duo, who gave the best of this very difficult specialty.

How not to mention “Carillon” and its graceful daughter Nox, who immersed the spectators of Valencia in an enchanting universe.
Entering Carillon’s track was like stepping out of a time machine. The spectator saw him appear in the mists, aboard a pedal toy resembling a mysterious ancient machine, from another era or perhaps from another world.
Thus appears Nox, the singer, who accompanies the rest of the number with her warm voice. A fascinating metaphor for a creation: a real woman emerges from an inanimate and ephemeral bust, to which Clown Carillon remains inextricably linked.
To end the session, and for the first time in Valencia, it’s time for the trapeze artists. This number did not leave sensation seekers indifferent either. With the “Flyings Henriquez” troupe, the double flying trapeze required many qualities and a lot of work from the artists. At the end of all these efforts, the reward was there: loud applause from the audience.
The latest animation to have enjoyed immense success: the model of the “American Circus” circus, presented by its creator, Daniel Jet.
This 2024 edition finished, on the side of the “Noël en cirque” association, we are already thinking about 2025.
