Jocelyn Wildenstein will be cremated after her death in Paris on New Year’s Eve.
The longtime partner of the so-called “Cat Lady,” Lloyd Klein, told “TMZ” that she will be cremated and that her ashes will be taken to a ranch in Kenya after an intimate funeral in Paris.
According to the outlet, the ranch is where his father’s grave and his mother’s ashes are located. It would be located in the Ol Jogi Nature Reserve, on a rocky mountain overlooking the vast Laikipia Plateau, in the shadow of Mount Kenya. Lloyd Klein said she loved this African country and that this place suited her perfectly.
The Swiss personality, who became known for her numerous plastic surgeries making her look like a cat, died peacefully in her sleep during a stay in Paris on December 31, 2024. She was 84 years old.
A few days earlier, Lloyd Klein had revealed to “People” magazine that Jocelyn Wildenstein had suffered from phlebitis, that is to say an inflammation of the veins close to the skin due to blood clots, which would have contributed to his death.
Jocelyn Wildenstein, of Swiss origin, married the billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein in 1978. They had two children and divorced in 1999. After various scandals, Jocelyn Wildenstein would have obtained 2.5 billion dollars as part of this divorce.
