He had a good number in the stalls and a weight that gave him a chance. He didn’t break down to finish. I have been living with Jean-Pierre Gauvin since March where I rent boxes with around ten horses. I work with Gabriele (Spouse) and an apprentice. The coaching job is not easy. It’s about making the right decisions. It was Gabriele who encouraged me to get my license and his presence is also important in giving me his opinion as a jockey. I started with a lot of young horses and it is not easy, even if we were confident in our work. The idea is also to make the horses age and this year should bring us some joy.
