Arrival of the quinté : 7 – 15 – 6 – 8 – 3
On a track whose condition was strongly criticized by Jean-Michel Bazire at the start of the meeting, Jack Tonic (n°7) dictated its law in the Prix de Lille, support for à la carte betting, with a certain authority. Closer in thickness in the climb, the son of Charly du Noyer fell back outside the animator Hedic Géma (n°3) shortly before the intersection of the tracks. After having disposed of the latter two hundred meters from the finish, he resisted the good return ofIndy Rock (n°15) to the great pleasure of its driver Théo Duvaldestin who shines again at Vincennes a week after the success of Idao de Tillard: “Today I found him a little less good but he was moving down in category. Two races ago, he still finished at the hip of Josh Power. Last time it was my fault. Here, we caught some wind halfway up and he still made it to the end. I think today the best won. »
Patiently led at the back of the pack by Paul Ploquin, Indy Rock (n°15) bypassed his rivals in the final turn before finishing pleasantly in the middle of the track, but without really worrying the winner. Another waiter, Nice Greek (n°6) also provided a very good end to the race but without being able to counter the second to finish. Long seen in the wake of the future winner, Horchestro (n°8) once again showed courage during the final sprint, while the leader from the first hour, Hedic Géma (n°3) retained fifth place.
