Former historical figure of the Splendid troupe. Michel Blanc tragically died at the age of 72 in October 2024. The famous actor suffered an allergic reaction to a medication just before a routine medical examination. Rushed to hospital, he eventually died of six heart attacks. The announcement of his death was followed by numerous posthumous tributes. Michel Blanc’s funeral took place a few days later in the Saint-Eustache Church in Paris. For the record, the actor regularly visited this place of worship. Many personalities made the trip to attend this ceremony. Among the latter, we can notably cite the former members of the Splendid troupe. Josiane Balasko was also appointed to say a few words on behalf of the group during the funeral of their former sidekick.
