Lagaf, Bill, the “gafettes”… What awaits you for the big return of the cult TV game from the 1990s

“Good evening my friend Bill! “. This Thursday, a scent of nostalgia will be felt on RMC Story with the return of “Bigdil” to television. After rebroadcasting old episodes of the TF1 game as a bonus during the Christmas holidays, the channel 23 will offer, from 9:10 p.m., a new version of the famous game with Vincent Lagaf at the helm. 20 Minutes opens the curtain on this new “Bidgil”.

Bill of the game

The flagship show of the late 1990s and early 2000s on TF1 will mark its return to the French audiovisual planet on RMC Story with, in its saucer, Bill. The friendly blue alien will speak in an unchanged environment, but will be entitled to a few touch-ups. More rounded, he will have a cell phone and will be accompanied by members of his family and his dog. His voice will be that of Gilles Vautier, already present during the TF1 version of “Bidgil”. “Gilles Vautier is inseparable from this program,” assured Vincent Lagaf, the host of the game, to our colleagues at Leisure .

A smooth mechanics

For those who would have lived on the planet Fricus, like Bill, or who would be just under twenty years old, the “Bigdil” had the heyday of prime time access on TF1, between 1998 and 2004. Hosted by Vincent Lagaf, dressed in colorful costumes reminiscent of those of Jim Carrey in The Maskthe program offers its candidates challenges, such as the blind test, the tractokado, the dark room, or even piggy banks, and offers them money or gifts with the famous curtain dilemma.

The set, also very colorful, remains unchanged for this comeback. The credits, as catchy as can be, have been very slightly remixed. Clearly, RMC Story and its star host want to remember the public’s good memories.

Two “gafettes” at the party

In the first version of “Bigdil”, Lagaf was surrounded by four young women, nicknamed “the gafettes”, supporting him in the presentation of the tests. This year, the former host of Croesus will be accompanied by two “gafettes”, Nadia and Fanny.

Nadia Anebri, who was already present in the game at the TF1 era, did not hesitate to return to accompany Vincent Lagaf. The dancer and director will be assisted by Fanny Veyrac, who officiated on the set of Fair Price about ten years ago. “We were a bit of a woman-object,” the life coach testified to Leisure TV. Today, the place of women has changed […]. You are going to be there to show that women have another place today. It was a condition for me to come back. Like dressing differently. »

Ramuncho, it’s coming soon

Like the “gafettes”, Ramuncho was one of the personalities appreciated by viewers in the first generation of “Bigdil”. The zany and stuttering musician, particularly gifted at puns and other puns, will not be present in the version of the game offered by RMC Story, this Thursday evening. He will return, however, for a “Special 98”, the year of birth of “Bigdil”, in the company of two former accomplices, the multi-instrumentalist Loulou and DJ Aspé. A welcome makeover in this new year.
