Every year, at the time of the holidays, these two Soualais design and imagine a Provençal village with the flavor of Pagnol's heroes. Marius, Fanny, Honorine, Jean de Florette, Manon, all these names certainly mean something to you. But yes, of course, these are the characters and heroes of Marcel Pagnol, this filmmaker and writer born in at the foot, as he said, of Garlaban, this mountain, these hills where he so loved to spend time.

A village 4.60 m long

These characters come to life in this nativity scene or rather in this Provençal village designed and imagined by two “fadas” of santons, from Provence and Marcel Pagnol. This village, 4.60 m long and 1 m wide, is not a replica of an existing village. But judge for yourself: more than a hundred figurines, not far from around fifty houses or buildings, add to that lots of small details without obviously forgetting the nativity scene and you get this village that is more than natural and that You can visit it at 10 Impasse des Violetes.

You will be able to see the marine bar, Fanny's fishmonger, the baker, the blacksmith, the illuminated fountain, the farandole dancers, the gypsy camp with their pot on the smoking fire, the windmill and its wings which rotate.

This village will be visible until mid-January but it is best to call beforehand on 06 27 17 43 20.
