If François Alu is originally from Cher, he quickly moved to to join the National Opera at the age of 10 and then the corps de ballet, seven years later.

This prodigy very quickly became a principal dancer and had a string of successes for two years before leaving the Paris Opera. He discovered new artistic worlds with hip-hop, which he practiced with his family, and singing.

A career that catches the eye of television. In 2021, he joins the jury of Dancing with the stars at the same time as he put on his first show, a single on stage mixing dance, theater and humor. After having used the corridors of RTL a few times for the show “The Big Heads”the star dancer returns this time with an autobiography: “The Price of the Star”.

At only 31 years old, the very young dad has already signed his first autobiography: “I share all the secrets and anecdotes of my life, but the reason why I made this book is more to explain what to do when faced with adversity.”

In particular, he exposes the challenges of life as a professional dancer but also his mental health problems. A passage from shadow to light which notably involves the confinement where the artist found himself with himself.

“I realized that I wasn’t in my place” at the Paris Opera, explains the former star dancer who looks back on years of tension with the institution.
