The Sussex couple shared their traditional holiday card. A rare photo of their children, Archie and Lilibet, shows how much they have grown.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle unveiled their 2024 greeting card. On this occasion, a new photo of Archie (5 years old) and Lilibet (3 years old) was revealed. The photo shows the two children from behind, running happily towards their parents.
An image full of tenderness is among six photos selected by the Sussexes to accompany their end-of-year message: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and the Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.”.
A life far from the royal spotlight
While Harry and Meghan have included a few images from their public appearances this year, such as their trip to Colombia last August, they continue to drip-feed photos of their children. Archie and Lilibet receive very little media coverage, a choice made by the couple to protect their privacy.
The Sussexes are expected to once again celebrate Christmas in California, where they have resided since 2020 after leaving their royal duties. According to the Daily Mail, no official invitation would have been sent by Buckingham Palace for the end of year celebrations. A symbolic distance between Harry and the royal family, which persists despite the years.
