Jamie Foxx experienced an incident during his birthday meal, celebrated on Friday, December 13 at Mr. Chow restaurant, an establishment in Beverly Hills. Around 10 p.m., an altercation broke out between customers and the star, leading to a violent gesture: a glass thrown across the room hit the actor in the mouth.
According to his press officer, who spoke to the site TMZ: “He had stitches and is recovering.”
According to witnesses, rude customers provoked the actor, who was particularly upset, particularly because of the presence of his family. The incident escalated until the glass, thrown from a nearby table, injured the actor. The police, quickly called to the scene, are now investigating the situation.
Despite this regrettable episode, Jamie Foxx chose to reassure his fans on Instagram, displaying an optimistic state of mind: “The devil is deceitful…,” he wrote. But he can’t take it here.” And added: “Thank you to the people who prayed for me or contacted me.”
