An unforgettable evening to support All Within My Hands
On December 13, 2024, Metallica held their fourth concert Helping Hands at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. This charity event, presented by Jimmy Kimmel, raised funds for the All Within My Hands Foundation, which supports professional education, humanitarian aid and the fight against hunger.
In addition to performances by Metallica, the audience also enjoyed a set by Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Kenny Aronoff. All profits generated by the concert and associated auctions will be directly donated to charitable projects.

Rare pieces and distinguished guests
Metallica performed a five-song acoustic set, including a rendition of Low Man’s Lyricperformed for the first time since 1998. The group also covered Helpless of Diamond Head and Away From Home by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Avi Vinocur and the duo SistaStrings joined Metallica on stage to enrich these acoustic moments.
During the electric set, the performance took a special turn when Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament joined Metallica to perform Hit The Lights. The evening concluded in apotheosis with a masterful interpretation of Master Of Puppets.
