“The most read thriller author in the United States” according to “the New York Times” releases the second volume of her series: a story of control and “gaslighting”.
She sees everything, she hears everything. “She knows your secrets. Find out about his people.” But who, but who? The housekeeper, the one whose eye sooty, hidden behind a lock, appears everywhere on our path. Let us point out that we are not talking about the latest Shiva campaign lit by the Harcourt studio, but about the series by Freida McFadden, translated in France by City éditions for large formats and by J’ai lu for children. Information taken from the latter, the two volumes reached one million copies shipped this week (i.e. sent in anticipation of future sales), with more than 30,000 paperbacks sold between November 25 and December 1 for the one first part (although released a year ago, but carried by the Secrets of the Housekeeper, just available). Basically, whether we have one or not, whether we are one or not, everyone is tearing up and recommending the Housekeeper.
Is it dark romance?
