It’s a whole new music festival which will see the light of day in the Oise in 2025!
On Friday August 29 and Saturday August 30, the first edition of “L’Enceinte festival” will take place, at Pierrefondsorganized by the association of the same name, set up in 2020 by “a group of friends” from this tourist village, renowned for its medieval castle.
Electro, rap, pop, punk festival…
An outdoor “current music” festival which will be available in three great moments. First of all, the two evenings of Friday August 29 and Saturday August 30 at the football stadium with electronic music artists but also rap, pop, afro rock and afro punk.
“The objective is to offer accessible programming to as many people as possible”, breathes Philippe Tolédano, the president of the “L’Enceinte” association, which has already organized “festive and musical guinguettes” on the shores of Lake Pierrefonds in recent summers.
Evenings that would be “more intended for young people, up to 35 years oldeven if it remains an inclusive party,” promises the organizer. They will be chargeable, at around “around thirty euros” for a two-day pass.
At this time, prices have not yet been set. “We are also still waiting for confirmations to announce the artists,” slips Philippe Tolédano. But according to our information, around fifteen musicians would be expected there!
An afternoon accessible free of charge
Then, Saturday afternoon will give way to a completely different time. A free part of the festival which will take place in the park of the Château de Pierrefonds and which will “highlight different types of artssuch as theater, street arts, classical music and why not jazz.”
A festival in this context would allow locals and people passing through to be able to visit the park of the Pierrefonds castle from another prism. The notion of heritage is very important to us.
A “more relaxed” niche that is more accessible to families and children.
Filling the “lack” of the Imaginarium
But why a new music festival in Oise? The president of the association explains that this reflection was carried out after the disappearance of the Imaginarium Festival, an event organized in Margny-lès-Compiègne which attracted lots of festival-goers, before his association was placed in liquidation.
” It is a moment that we miss as music lovers,” recognizes Philippe Tolédano. “We would like to position ourselves in this niche because we are convinced that bringing music to rural areas is important.”
The organizers hope to attract between 3,000 and 4,000 festival-goers over the two days. For the moment, ticketing for this first edition is “being prepared”. We will keep you informed.
