“He left me”: Camille Lellouche with moist eyes, evokes a sudden loss

Guest on December 13, 2024 on the set of the show C to you facing Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, Camille Lellouche was very moved when talking about one of her friends whom she recently lost. Currently in full promotion of his second album, soberly named IIshe revealed that it had helped her a lot in the creation of this opus, she who had been suffering from blank page syndrome for some time.

I told myself that it was no longer my job and then I met lots of people, lots of incredible musicians and composers. It rekindled this little flame in me“, she explained before talking about her deceased friend: “There was a composer friend, Nino Vella, who wrote some of my pieces, who died in July and who brought this new artistic flame. It really was a friendly crush, and he actually left me. It’s like he abandoned me a little, it’s a little selfish, in an important moment (…) He is a very great composer, singer, topliner and musician. He has accompanied a lot of artists, so people who see me talking about him will recognize themselves. He was exceptional, his music still lives and I am very happy about it“.

Every time I have a sob…

On the verge of tears, the actress currently starring in the film The Lucky One It then took a few minutes before he regained his composure. “Every time I have a sob…“, she adds, visibly very touched by the disappearance of this dear friend (editor’s note: Nino Vella died Monday July 1, 2024 at the age of 31. He died in his sleep after a heart problem).

A track from album II is dedicated to Nino Vella

Regarding the name of this second album, his first was titled A and was released in 2021, the pretty 38-year-old brunette opted for simplicity. “I don’t like titles. I like that we have a visual and that we don’t have to worry. Let it not be a sales argument“, she concluded. She also wanted to pay tribute to her friend Nino Vella by dedicating one of the tracks from this album to him. “I dedicated a song to him called Nino by the way.”revealed the artist who became mother to Alma on October 9, 2022.

A title where we seem to hear the voice and laughter of Nino Vella, speaking to Camille Lellouche during the making of this new album. “I can’t get over it (…) My god how I miss you” sings the young woman in this song which is already a very beautiful tribute.
