The Batida Ensemble will soon begin its fourth period, and today finds itself at the junction of two seasons. Founded in 2010, today composed of Viva Sanchez, Jeanne Larrouturou, Alexandra Bellon and Anne Briset, this Geneva group specializes in border-hopping improvisation operations: from one art to another (Batida does music, but operates cross-pollinations with other cultural fields), from one sound space to its neighbors (this is the mark of improvisation) and from one person to the other (the Ensemble’s projects often draw on cross-invitations).
