Creature Commandos: Your opinion on the episodes 'The Collywobbles' and 'The Tourmaline Necklace' [1×01 et 1×02] !

Ladies and gentlemen, the big day has arrived…James Gunn's DCU begins today with Creature Commandos (ft. James Gunn in the credits, in case we have any doubts)! After watching these two episodes, it is clear that we are not dealing with a revolution, nor even a change in continuity: Creature Commandos looks like two drops of water to a series of The Suicide Squad sprinkled with Peacemakerwith Gunn declaring his love for monsters and the underdog more intensely than ever. As a result, we almost have the impression that he does not want to bother with the development of the main story – the mission to Pokolistan -, since he can have fun with the traumas of his new characters. To see if the balance will be better respected later, once we are irremediably attached to the members of Task Force M. For the rest, not sure that the animation – sometimes a little rigid – really does justice to the always effective 'Gunn formula', particularly with regard to humor, nothing being able to replace the finesse of expression of a human face. In short, it's a good start that makes you want to see more; but without any real surprise, since even the usual jukebox which is triggered during each action scene is there. And you, what did you think of these first two episodes?
