On Wednesday December 4, 2024, the assessments on the theme of musicals took place for the last students of the Star Academy. So, were our predictions on the nominees correct?

One more week for academics! After Julie’s painful elimination during the last bonus, the remaining students redouble their efforts for next Saturday’s bonus. One thing is certain, they will all be present together on the tour. This week, the theme of the evaluations was that of musicals. Each in turn, the students presented themselves to the teachers with a song of their choice from a musical. This week, only two nominees will be chosen!

High-level assessments

Although she is disappointed with her performance, Marine nevertheless convinced the teachers. “I was happy with myself but when I see your evaluations I start to doubt”she confided to Maureen. “It was more entertainment, concert, than evaluation”she added. On Maureen’s side, the teachers agreed that vocally it was great, but they were not transported by her performance. Evaluations interspersed by the surprise arrival of the singer Eva, to the delight of the students. A welcome break after Michael Goldman’s announcement to nominate the nominees.

Surprise at the nominees!

In the teaser of the Quotidienne the next day, we could see Michael Goldman arriving to announce the nominees of the week. We had bet on Maureen and Ulysse, were we right? Yes… but only half! “The impressions that the teachers had were that you had perhaps erred a little on the interpretation, once again, it didn’t come down to much”explained the director to Maureen, nominee. The second nominee is Charles. We didn’t see this one coming! “It’s only for small gaps in stage expression”he explained, “Because vocally there wasn’t much to say,” he added. “I’m not surprised”Maureen reacted once Michael Goldman left. “Actually, neither do I.” commented Charles, still visibly disappointed. “I think I reached the maximum of what I could do with my level”, Maureen explained. Saturday, we will have to say goodbye to one of the two, but we will see them again on the tour!
