Feminine tradition
The presence of Éléonore Lagacé in the guise of Peter Pan is part of an American tradition whose origins date back to 1954.
Indeed, since the creation of the show, the title character has mainly been played by women. This role also allowed Mary Martin to win the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1955.
- The musical Peter Pan will be presented at the St-Denis Theater in Montreal starting December 12, 2025. It will also be presented in Quebec the following summer.
