The Parisian luxury house is strengthening its end-of-year campaign with a ride nestled in the heart of Paris. A free, highly visible operation, which takes place during a key period in the tourism and retail calendar.
A Parisian carousel in the colors of Louis Vuitton
We already knew the carousel at the Ritz Place Vendôme, we will now have to count on that of Louis Vuitton. Located just a few meters from one of the brand’s boutiques, this multicolored installation aims to bring to life the theme adopted this year by the brand for its “Holiday” holiday campaign.
Ostrich, giraffe, snail, leopard, gazelle, greyhound, zebra… Here, visitors are invited to embark on the astonishing monogrammed bestiary which adorns the windows of Louis Vuitton stores this season, and in particular the front of its spectacular new American boutique.
An initiative echoing the heritage of Louis Vuitton
If this activation means create the experience among local customers and passing tourists, it also aims to highlight the roots of the House since the scenography of this ride evokes the stand imagined by the brand, founded in 1854, during the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1900 : Georges Vuitton, the son of the founder, then displayed a selection of trunks and other travel items in a carousel draped in blue velvet embellished with gold.
An international initiative, amplified by digital
Presented until the beginning of 2025, Louis Vuitton’s Parisian carousel is the subject of international variations with similar initiatives presented in different luxury strongholds in Asia, namely Macau, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Yokohama.
To accompany this system, the House also announces the launch of a matching augmented reality filter on Instagram, as well as digital greeting cards accessible and customizable via its official website.
