The OcSobre campaign, which aims to help young people with addiction problems, managed to raise $115,000. “I was happy and surprised to see how much the artists and the public got on board,” said comedian Julien Lacroix, who was one of the ambassadors with Bob le Chef, Éliane Gagnon, Ludovick Bourgeois and Annie Marcotte.

Julien Lacroix draws very positive results from his first campaign with OcSobre and the organization Le Grand Chemin. In a gala that he hosted on October 29, at the Studio-Cabaret de l’Espace St-Denis, the comedian took the stage in the company of ambassadors Éliane Gagnon and Ludovick Bourgeois, as well as D’Amour and Alex Nevsky.

“The show went really well. The artists gave of themselves, he said. I liked reconnecting with the animation that I did before in galas or events. It was fun to have a team show dynamic.”

Julien Lacroix will continue his involvement with Grand Chemin, having joined the organization’s board of directors last week. “It’s going to be even more concrete.”

On tour until the end of 2025

This week, the comedian also announced that his tour Time to time was going to continue until the end of 2025. “The demand is there and the rooms are being added. I consider that this show can last another year. But I’m looking forward to talking about other things and I’m already starting to write new material.”

Julien Lacroix draws a positive assessment of his year 2024, he who made his official return to the stage last March, after a long journey of the cross. “I am very happy to have returned to my profession. That people are there is a gift. I feel that things are moving and moving forward. Leave time to time, it’s not just true in the title. I feel like things are moving in the right direction and that makes me very happy.”
