Building on the success of its first edition which received 1000 applications from fifteen different countries, Louis Vuitton persists and signs. The luxury brand has just opened applications for the second Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives. A biennial event organized by its Swiss manufacturer, La Fabrique du Temps, and which is aimed at all independent watchmakers and entrepreneurs, without distinction of age, nationality or specialization. They have until April 15 to apply online, at louisvuittonwatchprize.com.

Applications are studied by a team of experts led by Enrico Barbasini and Michel Navas, master watchmakers of the manufacture. In July, 20 semi-finalists will be revealed online. In November, only five will remain. They will present their work to the jury in February 2026. The winner will be awarded a grant of 150,000 euros as well as one-year mentoring adapted to their needs, including for questions of communication, rights of author and business, marketing, industrial strategy and financial management of a brand.
