The association “3PA – La Maison de la Terre” is launching the 3rd edition of its rural feminist festival “Les Semeuses”. Meet on November 29, 30 and December 1 at the Commanderie village hall and at La Maison de la Terre in Poucharramet to talk, learn and take action around the question of the place of women and gender minorities in society. It will also be about having fun since the festival is above all intended to be festive and participatory. On the program, craft market of creators, concerts, conferences, open stage, workshops, pancakes and mulled wine (free participation). “We have chosen a program represented exclusively by women and gender minorities. Women will be in the spotlight until the choice of associations, artists and producers present over the 3 days. We wish to make the work carried out by these women generally from rural areas. It is a festival about women and open to as many people as possible!”, explain the organizers. In 3 years, the “Les Semeuses” festival has made a name for itself and continues to develop in our territory to sow the seeds of awareness and action. It comes a few days after the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” (November 25). Let’s not forget that 50% of feminicides in France take place in rural areas even though only 31% of the population lives there.
