More “Entertainment”

Remained for several weeks in the Top 10 most watched series on Netflix, My little reindeer captivated and shocked audiences alike with its true story: that of author and actor Richad Gadd.

To learn more about this:

He was inspired by his own experiences to tell the story of stalker Martha (Jessica Gunning), who harasses a bartender – and aspiring comedian – named Donny, a character played by Gadd himself. This story made an even greater impact for highlighting the sexual violence to which men are also victims.

After such success, all the doors of production companies opened for Richard Gadd, and it didn’t take long for him to find prestigious interested parties to help him achieve his next success. It will be nothing more nor less than an Anglo-American co-production between the BBC and HBO.

With his experience, Richard Gadd remains in familiar territory, since his next work will continue to explore the defects of human behavior, in particular with a series centered on toxic masculinity.

Two Brothers and Flashbacks

Titled Lions, the six-episode series will tell the poignant story of two brothers, Niall and Ruben, separated for 40 years by fratricidal hatred. Through flashbacks, the series will revisit their journey from the 1980s to today, to understand what led them to hate each other and physically attack each other. Contrary to My little reindeere, Lions is a pure product of fiction.

The release date has not yet been determined. The series should be broadcast on the Max streaming platform, still unavailable in Switzerland. Hopefully, Canal+, which holds the rights to the American channel’s catalog, will broadcast it on its platform.

No, you’re not dreaming, it’s not a late April Fool’s joke and it’s completely official. The information, or rather the information, was revealed during the FlightSimExpo which took place this weekend in Las Vegas.
