On October 29, Le Parisien made disturbing revelations about Slimane. Indeed, a former technician from his tour had filed a complaint against the artist and father for sexual harassment. The facts denounced date back to
the night of December 17 to 18, 2023 at the Zénith de Saint-Étienne. According to the technician, Slimane would have tried to
“block against a wall” before imposing “an embrace”.
Since then, the 35-year-old singer has been the target of two investigations for accusations of harassment and sexual assault. In fact, a second technician filed a new complaint for
sexual assault and attempted assault. It was Le Parisien who revealed the information on November 19.
A journalist from Le Parisien makes revelations about the affair
This Thursday, November 21, Benoît Daragon, journalist from Le Parisien, returned to the facts of the first complaint at the microphone of BFMTV:
“It's the last date of the Cupid Tour before the Christmas break. So they're having a little party where there are quite a few of them. Slimane is going to speak to one of the employees he knows and is going to block him against a wall and will force him to have a hug”he said.
The journalist notably revealed that the artist had also sent photos: “The employee will refuse his advances and will slip off on the tour bus where everyone sleeps between two concert dates. During the night, Slimane will send him intimate photos, very explicit photos, videos too”, he explained.
“They love Slimane, they love his songs”
While Slimane continues his tour, journalist Benoît Daragon returned to his situation in the Parisien podcast:
“The fans are always a little… Firstly, they want to be sure that the facts are proven, which is totally understandable. It always takes a little time to see if there are new complaints coming in, see if Slimane recognizes the facts or not“he said.
He then concluded: “The time for justice is a bit long so the fans are waiting a bit to know what the legal consequences of this case will be. And there you have it, they like Slimane, they like his songs. His love songs, his somewhat sassy songs…”.
