Zac Efron has revealed that he was very nervous about playing opposite Nicole Kidman in 2012.
Zac Efron was very nervous when he first worked with Nicole Kidman.
Before giving her the reply in the film “Les dessous de la famille”, which will be released on Netflix this week, the 36-year-old actor played alongside Nicole in “Paperboy” in 2012. A first meeting which terrified him at the time.
Zac told PEOPLE, “We had so much fun, but it was crazy.”
The “High School Musical” actor also admitted that he had absolutely no hesitation at the idea of starring with the star in the romantic comedy.
“I’m still in love with Nicole,” he added. “There’s a part of me that pinches myself when I realize who I work with so much. I think it was more pronounced during ‘Paperboy’ because I was a lot younger. I was very nervous back then.”
For her part, Nicole believes they both benefited from the experience of having worked together before.
The star said: “It’s very helpful when you’re doing this kind of work together to have a history together because it’s easy. So I’m not thinking about whether I can touch you. I have incredible trust in Zac.”
