It was a festive evening yesterday at Place des Arts, when the media premiere of the wonderful film Mlle Bottine took place.
For the occasion, all the artists who make up the film’s cast were brought together, starting with Marguerite Laurence and Antoine Bertrand who star in it.
At their side, we found the actress Marilyn Castonguay, who plays a rather charming role in the feature film. She also sported a new look last night, with magnificent red hair.
For the occasion, she was accompanied by her well-known partner, the author and director Jean-François Rivard (see his photo here), who notably gave us the series Les invincibles and Série noire.
Their children also accompanied them.
See the family portrait below.
In Miss BottinePhilippe, an opera composer lacking inspiration, is forced to take in his niece Simone, a rebellious and eccentric orphan whose best friend is a skunk. Despite their diametrically opposed personalities, Philippe and Simone quickly discover that they may need each other more than they initially thought.
The feature film, written by Dominic James based on the original film Bach and Bottine written by Bernadette Renaud, is directed by Yan Lanouette Turgeon.
Mlle Bottine will be released in theaters throughout Quebec starting November 29. To have!
