A date to note in your diary. This Friday November 22, 2024the Française des Jeux (FDJ) is pulling out all the stops. On the occasion of 20 years of EuroMillions, it offers you an “exceptional print”.
After the Halloween Super Loto, it is the turn of the players of the European game of chance to benefit from a special evening. THE “exceptional draw 100 millionaires” takes place this Friday, November 22, 2024.
As its name suggests, this draw will make 100 millionaires at once. Usually, even if the jackpot is not won, the FDJ guarantees to make a millionaire every Tuesday and Friday thanks to the code “My Million”. This Friday, it will be much more.
What does it consist of?
EuroMillions is twice a week. This one, once a year. Occasional or regular punter, this is a bargain not to be missed… so we’ll tell you a little more.
When you validate a grid at the tobacconist or online, you get a receipt to keep carefully. This includes in particular the code My Million.
In the usual rules, among all the codes generated, one is drawn at random in each draw. The player who is lucky enough to see their code win wins one million euros.
With the exceptional draw next Friday, the principle of My Million is extended. It’s not one code that will be drawn… but 100! Understand: 100 players will win one million euros each.
100 millionaires in Europe
“In addition to the My Million code, players will be assigned another code,” the FDJ informed actu.fr. And unlike My Million (which is reserved for French players), this one is intended for 10 national lotteries who participate in EuroMillions (France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein).
How to participate in this exceptional draw?
To bet, the procedure is the same as usual. Namely, go to your tobacconist or to the FDJ website, check five numbers and a star, then pay the sum of 2.50 euros.
Validating a grid for Friday, November 22 automatically generates two codes: the My Million and the one dedicated to the exceptional draw.
Always a (big) jackpot to win
“It should be noted that the exceptional draw is carried out independently of the EuroMillions draw,” specifies the FDJ on its site.
Yes, a million euros is good. Tens of millions is better. The classic draw still takes place as usual. And the jackpot of this Friday, November 22 could well be pharaminous.
Everything will depend on the previous draw, that of Tuesday November 19, 2024. In fact, a prize pool of nearly 168 million euros will be put into play. If it is not won, the amount will increase for Friday’s drawing. Enough to quickly forget your My Million code in the event of a victory.
