40 years of artistic life should be celebrated. Robert Mavounza, the leader of Bakwa Nwel, had chosen the Espace de la Reprise to celebrate his artistic longevity with friends. Several groups or representatives made the trip. Mizik Nwel, Troubadours, Ti citron, José Versol, Misié Roro were present.
What a brilliant idea to throw a party to mark 4 decades of serving Christmas Music. The charismatic leader of Bakwa Nwel invited several groups for this solemn moment. On November 11, it was a big Nwel singing festival, both festive, heritage and inclusive.
It was an artistic celebration in a rural setting in the heart of Rivière-Salée. Mr. Roro and Christmas Music set the tone.
The hymn is an essential work of “Chanté Nwel”. This collection by Loulou Boislaville allows everyone to follow the singers, like Jefferson from the group Troubadours 972. The audience sang in unison with all the groups.

José Versol was present with memories of his first meeting with Robert Mavounza who played with a group in Sainte-Marie. This will give birth to “Fetay” which will crisscross Martinique and establish the advent of “Chanté Nwel”.
From now on, the artist continues his career in the spiritual field.
